My late husband, Sean, was incredibly good at maximizing the potential of things. He could make a basic IKEA book case look like a custom-crafted built-in cabinet. His capable approach to sweat equity allowed us to really stretch our money. I learned a lot from Sean about when to DIY and when to pay a pro.
After weeks of banging my head against the website-wall I was on the verge of forking over a bunch of cash to hire an expert, when I heard about a potentially elegant hybrid solution. Web page templates for sale on Etsy.com
Here’s where I got my template. From the big selection, you might not even be able to tell which one I started with, proving how much customization is possible, even for a beginner like me. I bought from Jessica at TheLeapStudio and in our email exchange, it turned out we both grew up in Saskatchewan, a small-world connection that was fun to make.
The future benefit I’m most looking forward to: Ease of updating the website myself after the pre-sale stage.
If you’ve stumbled upon any time and labour-saving solutions in your book-launch journey, I’d love to hear about them!
